Hello I am Heidi!
Mama to two magical wild things. My life was utterly transformed the moment I knew I was going to be ‘Mum’ – did I anticipate being a puddle stomping, nature exploring, frog hunting, treasure collecting, barefoot, Earth Mama? Not entirely, but my golly, gosh, am I grateful.
My wild boys, have led me to a place of mystic and wonder and have initiated me back to my soul and re-wilded me. They have reminded me about the magical connection between childhood and the natural world. Reminded me that magic still exists, all we need to do is open up to the wonder of our inner worlds. Get our feet muddy, wear feathers and flowers in our hair, and walk a little on the wild side.
We are the ones who make the choice to live a full and creative life. We can choose a life where living in complete harmony with nature is our main virtue. We can choose to authentically explore ways of being and doing that align with our heart song, and when we do this, we heal deeply and we create a whole new pathway for generations to come.
The way we treat all living beings, the way we behave in community and the loyalty and care we show to our planet, ourselves and our family becomes our manifesto. By romancing the ordinary day, we find meaning in the mundane.
Our children learn everything about life by watching us live it, but they also have much to teach us. So why not join them in their world? That puddle sure looks fun?! do you remember the joy of being a small child? It is not denied to you. It still exists.
Mother nature provides boundless opportunities for unstructured creativity, awe and imagination. There are profound and beautiful opportunities to live a meaningful and connected life right now. By aligning your life with the values that already exist in your heart, you can reclaim everything you once knew and let the magic unfold.
So, join me and let us take a moment to be grateful for all we have and vow to live with the wonder and awe of a child.
May we embrace mother nature and treat her with loving respect. Let us live with simple abundance, ritual and creativity.
Let us, make do, mend and consume with intention, cherish second-hand items and pour our hearts and souls into nourishing home cooked meals. Let us get messy making mud pies with our children, marvel at fairy houses, grow food with our families and share it with friends.
Let us surrender to truly living each and every wonder-full day!
