Term Four 2020

Hello everyone!
Here we are at term four. Many students are gearing up for their video exams. Keep practicing whether it be for exams or school assessments. You are nearly there!
Theory exams are on wed 21st of October at the house at 9 am. I will be invigilating for these.
Good luck to everyone as you complete your exams and reach your bench marks for the year’s work. It has certainly been a challenging year for many.

END OF YEAR PARTY

We have decided not to hold an end of year party this year and hopefully we will be able to think about concerts and gatherings in 2021.

RESUMING TEACHING

After having most of this year off I am resuming teaching and are looking forward to working with students once again. I am also happy to run the Little Larkspurs program for young children should there be enough interest.

NEW WEBSITE

Ari Gentilin has updated the website for us. A big thank you to him for the work that he has done.!

ART ART ART

We are very lucky to have Nicky Pallant from Studio 26 going to frequent the house and offer workshops. Over the holidays she facilitated a clay building workshop which was great fun! Look out for future events being planned.

Term Three - 2020

Hi everyone! Welcome to term three. My how the year is flying by. There has been so much uncertainty and rapid change, it’s like trying to keep your hat on in the wind! I hope that families are feeling more settled and are looking forward to solid learning programs for their children to partake in.

WARM WELCOME AND RETURN

We are very fortunate that Leah Stuart-Douglas has returned to us and is offering some exciting new programs as well as teaching piano and voice.

ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS

Leah will be running an early years education program for small groups which includes music, art and nature play. Full of creative endeavours for children between 3-6 years old. She will also be doing a specialised program for children with disabilities.

ART ART ART

After school art is back for 6 years and up!

EXAMS

At this stage we are hopeful that an examiner will be able to come to the house the beginning of December. If there are any changes to lock downs across the states then all exams will be videoed. There has been a positive response to this through series one. Theory exams will still take place on the scheduled date unless there is a lockdown and then they will then be done in the home with parents invigilating. So either way they will go ahead so keep students practicing! By now your teachers should have shown you the new on line process for enrolment and payment which makes things much easier for everyone all the way round.

The closing date has been extended to August 17th.

NEW WEBSITE
