Update in regards to the current Covid-19 situation, thank you to everyone showing their support as we adjust to the changes in teaching arrangements! 🎶
Hi everyone! Welcome to the new year. I hope that you have had a good break over the holiday period.
Our hearts go out to all those affected by the bushfires and hope that healing, rebuilding and hope for the future prevail. Here’s to a calm year filled with creative endeavour.
This year sees Jean Proude on board, full time at the house, and we are stoked!!! She brings such a wealth of experience as a qualified vocal teacher/performer. The house will be singing even more! She will also be teaching theory, elementary guitar and piano.
It’s on again! Mark Sunday the 5th of April on your calendar. Registration forms will be available
from all teachers at the house and direct from the Arts council website. Venue to be confirmed at this early stage. This is a wonderful performance opportunity for all the house students.
The She-Oak Steiner playgroups will be running on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. This is a
playgroup based on the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner and is coordinated by Lesley Gentilin. It is
suitable for children form 18 months to 4 years and is part of the She-Oak Steiner school initiative.
Cooringal Crafters is an open craft group held at Cooringal on the first Saturday of each month. Bring a project or learn how to do various crafts with lots of Steiner based ideas. Gold coin donation.
The House vocal ensemble is on Tuesday’s from 5-5:30pm. $20 a session or $10 for those already
enrolled in music lessons The House. The choir is a great opportunity for those interested in singing to gain experience and develop skills in a group environment.
Kind regards,
Lesley Gentilin
